The latest to feel the wrath of the general public is Bill Cosby who had “Serial Rapist” etched on his star in black marker. The Los Angeles Times reports the discovery of the marker on the star was discovered around 5:30 am on Tuesday (Sept. 4). The actor’s star was originally placed in 1977 and had been defaced three times previously, all with the word “rapist.”
The star has been cleaned and the act of vandalism has been reported. But don’t expect for the star to be removed from the walk.
Leron Gubler once stated the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce does not look toward removing stars because they are considered pieces of history.

“Once a star has been added to the Walk, it is considered a part of the historic fabric of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Because of this, we have never removed a star from the Walk.”
